Why Warrior Is The Best Sewer Cleaning Service
Traditional ROOTER
Warrior is well versed in every method used to open a drain. We access the best option and use the method that best fits the situation. These methods consist of Roto-Rootering, Chain Cutter, Auger Cutting, & Hydro Jetting. Not every situation can be done the exact same way and that is why we have options.
Traditional ROOTER
A traditional roto-rooter consists of a rotating cutting head that is attached to a cable. The cutting head is inserted into the sewer or drain line and is rotated to cut through the blockage. Many people are familiar with the term roto-rooter, but that is a name of the original electric augur and is now trademarked by a sewer cleaning and repair company. Roto-rooters can be used to remove tree roots, grease, sludge, and other debris from sewer and drain lines. They are also used to clean drain tile systems and French drains.
Warrior’s Way Hydro Jetting and Chain Cutting
Hydro jetting uses high-pressure water to quickly and effectively remove blockages, roots, and other debris. This method is safe for most types of pipes and drains, and it can be completed relatively quickly. In the case where the Hydro Jetting is unavailable we use chain cutters or “chain Knockers” to remove the blockage. In contrast to traditional methods, roto-rooting can be very time-consuming and may not completely remove all debris. If all of the debris and blockage is not removed the likely hood of it clogging again is extremely high. That is why we offer the Warrior’s Way Warranty when we use these methods.

Why Not to Call Just Any Drain Cleaning Company or Use a Pipe Snake?
Other drain cleaning companies who use pipe snakes have serious limitations:
- They only unclog a small portion of the pipe
- They can damage the pipe, resulting in bigger replacement costs later
- They lose the battle against many sewer main drain cleaning jobs and serious clogs
Pipe snakes go by a few names: Drain snakes, augers, and plumbing snakes. Unfortunately, electric pipe snakes move with quite a bit of energy. Even experienced plumbers can lose control of these dangerous clog removers and risk suffering serious injury from the recoil.
The worst part? Many sewer drain cleaning experts use pipe snakes knowing they’re only designed to do the bare minimum.
Pipe snakes have been around for decades, so it’s what many plumbers use. But they are primarily designed for smaller cleaning pipes, like tub drains, floor drains, and shower drains. If you want your sewer line to stay cleaner for longer, the hydro jet is the way to go!
For Sewer Cleaning in St. Louis Hydro Jetting Beats Pipe Snakes
The better option for almost every clog in your main sewer line is hydro jetting. Put simply, a hydro jet drain cleaning uses a pressurized nozzle that is lowered into the clogged pipe. Water is safely sprayed through the pipe at high speeds clearing out any clogs or debris.
When it comes to drain cleaning in St. Louis, we are often called for a second opinion before someone spends thousands of dollars digging out and replacing their sewer pipes. Frequently, we save them thousands with a thorough hydro jet drain cleaning. Plus, we have the best warranty around St. Louis!
Can Hydro Jetting damage pipes?
Calling on a skilled hydro jet drain cleaner is much safer than using a snake. The high-pressured water clears out debris but is much gentler on the pipes themselves.
Pipe snakes are difficult and dangerous to use by their very nature. A cable (spinning or whipping back and forth) inside an older pipe may (or may not) clear the clog, but it can also cause scratches or cracks inside the pipe. This can make your problem worse and even more expensive to fix.
What type of clog will Hydro Jetting work on?
Hydro jetting works great for most sewer clogs:
- Tree roots
- Serious debris
- Hygiene products
- Cotton swabs
- Grease
- Coffee grounds
- Large pieces of food
- Soap residue
